What Is GF50 PA6 Material?
Long-fiber materials can unleash superior performance, and their outstanding performance during use has attracted much attention. These composite materials are specifically designed for demanding applications, offering high-strength, lightweight and cost-effective alternatives to metals and short-fiber plastics, significantly enhancing product durability and design freedom.

Introduction: LFT PA6-LGF50 Pellet
50% Long-fiber nylon 6 material is a high-performance engineering plastic formed by compounding long fibers (typically glass fibers, carbon fibers or aramid fibers) with a nylon resin matrix. Compared with short-fiber reinforced nylon, long fibers (typically ranging in length from 5-25 mm) retain a more complete structure in the matrix, significantly enhancing the material's mechanical properties, heat resistance and fatigue resistance. Long fibers form a network support structure in the nylon matrix, and their tensile strength, flexural modulus and impact toughness are significantly higher than those of short-fiber-reinforced nylon.
Key Advantage of LFT LGF50 PA6 Composite
High strength, high rigidity: Long glass fibers form a three-dimensional network structure in the nylon 6 matrices, significantly enhancing the load-bearing capacity.
High impact resistance: Long fibers can effectively prevent crack propagation and have high notched impact strength
Fatigue resistance: Under cyclic stress (such as gears and moving parts), the fatigue life of long-fiber nylon 6 is longer than that of short-fiber materials.
Creep resistance: Under a fixed load, the creep deformation after 1000 hours is low.
Excellent dimensional stability: Not prone to deformation, suitable for precision structural components.
High-temperature resistance: The HDT (1.82MPa) of long glass fiber PA6 is significantly higher than that of pure PA6. It can work for a long time in a fixed temperature environment.

Chemical resistance: Stable to engine oil, fuel, and weak acids and alkalis (but still eroded by strong acids/strong alkalis).
What is GF50 PA6 Material used for?

Automotive Parts
Structural components: Front-end module bracket, door anti-collision beam, seat frame, instrument panel bracket.
Power system: Engine hood, intake manifold, oil pan, transmission components (high-temperature resistant, creep resistant).
Chassis components: Suspension system parts, brake pedals, gear shifting mechanisms.
Electrification trend: Battery casings, motor brackets (insulation + lightweight).
Consumer goods and sports equipment
Sports equipment: ski bindings, bicycle pedals, badminton racket frames (high impact resistance).
Household items: Folding chair stands, suitcase frames (lightweight + durable).
Advantage: The "fiber network" structure of long glass fibers effectively prevents stress cracking.

FAQ
Q: Does GF PA6 composite absorb water?
A: Yes, long glass fiber reinforced nylon 6 composite does absorb water, though the glass fibers reduce moisture absorption compared to unfilled PA6 pellet.
Q: Do you allow customized products?
A: We can customize the material as per your request to supply the suitable quality.
Q: What is polyamide used for?
A: Glass finer Polyamide pellet is widely used due to its strength, durability, wear resistance and chemical resistance. The automotive and electronics industries rely on polyamide to produce a wide range of products, including automotive parts and electronic components.
