Hexagon is driving the development of the new mobile pipeline gas transport module Titan 53, which powers the future of cleaner energy, using one of the world's largest composite cylinders.

After nearly a decade of Titan products, customers need to be able to move a larger amount of compressed gas, including natural gas, hydrogen and industrial gases. The newly developed cylinders and modules are optimized for weight and capacity to meet the GVW limit of 80,000 pounds in most parts of the United States, providing an estimated gas volume of 492,000 standard cubic feet / 13,932 standard cubic meters.
Jack Schimenti, president of Hexagon Mobile Pipeline, will introduce the Titan 53 at the Gas for Transportation booth at the 2018 World Natural Gas Conference and share how it can provide nearly 40% of the payload while preserving all the advantages of the Titan platform. Applications for Titan 53 include energy-intensive industries converting to natural gas, virtual interconnects, gas islands, vehicle refueling and transportation industrial gases.
In the industry's industry insights program, Hexagon Director Mark Babcock will discuss gas distribution and sustainability considerations on Thursday, including the use of Titan 53. Mark will introduce mobile pipelines: a distributed energy solution for natural gas, renewable natural gas and hydrogen, based on the papers selected by the International Gas Alliance, for its outstanding industry innovation.
