Carbon fiber is a fibrous carbon material with a carbon content of more than 90%. The carbon fiber has high specific strength, high specific modulus, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, creep resistance, electrical conductivity, heat transfer and small coefficient of thermal expansion. The series has excellent performance. Commonly used carbon fibers can be classified into viscose fibers, PAN-based (polyacrylonitrile) fibers, and pitch fibers according to the source of the raw silk. Viscose fibers have low strength and low Young's modulus, but are still used in the manufacture of certain composite materials due to their low cost. PAN-based carbon fibers have better performance but higher prices and are mainly used in the aerospace industry where performance is extremely high. Compared with PAN-based carbon fiber, bituminous carbon fiber has a certain price advantage, showing good application prospects in the fields of automobiles, machinery and electronics.
