Solvay celebrates the groundbreaking expansion of its Greenville, Texas manufacturing footprint and enhances the plant's resin blending capabilities to meet the growing needs of commercial and military aerospace composites customers.
Local officials joined the site and the project management team attended the ceremony.
"Greenville TX is Solvay's strategic base. In recent years we have invested millions of dollars in capacity and modernization, achieving double-digit employment growth. This new expansion will enable us to further satisfy our customers' satisfaction with Sol. “The growing demand for high-pressure sterilization technology in the market,” said Tracy Price, executive vice president of global operations for Solvay Composites.
“I am proud to make this investment decision in the Greenville Economic Development Board, Greenville City and Hunter County. This expansion will be generated for the local community by creating more employment opportunities in the field and in the surrounding Hunter County area. Positive influence," Judge John Horn said.
Solvay's Greenville TX website currently has more than 300 full-time employees and is currently hiring.
