The reporter learned from the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences that the development of the unmanned helicopter led by the institute completed all the test flight missions and entered the acceptance phase. The equipment realizes the localization of key components such as control system, power system and transmission system, which indicates that the independent research and development capability of large unmanned helicopters in China has been further improved.
According to Gu Feng, associate researcher at Shenyang Institute of Automation, Xiangying 200 large unmanned helicopter equipment is 8.7 meters long, 2.5 meters high, 200 kilograms payload, and can last up to 6 hours. Xiangying 200 unmanned helicopter is led by Shenyang Automation Institute and jointly developed by many units of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This type of unmanned helicopter has broken through key technologies such as autonomous flight control, deck take-off and landing, marine protection, light materials, and engines. It has successfully realized the self-propelled take-off and landing technology verification of large unmanned helicopters in China for the first time. For the first time, the class of unmanned helicopters uses a new generation of domestic engine systems.
