According to Platts London, Japan's Mitsui Chemicals Co., Ltd. and Japan's Plyman Polymer Co., Ltd. disclosed in a joint statement on Wednesday that the two companies plan to set up a new company to build a new polypropylene plant in the Netherlands.
The new polypropylene plant will be Mitsui Chemicals' first polypropylene compound production site in Europe to address the growing global demand from the automotive industry.
