KULR Technology is a technical consultant for the drone racing organization

As a technical advisor to the Alliance, KULR will work with drone designers, engineers and pilots to deploy the company's space use and NASA-developed carbon fiber technology - helping DR1 drive technology boundaries in terms of speed, weight and safety.

"The DR1 Alliance has gotten rid of the limits of the performance of drones and electric vehicles. Through our space flight carbon fiber, we can do something that really disappoints people," said Michael Mo, CEO of KULR.

The core technology of KULR is a vertically aligned carbon fiber material that is lighter, more flexible and more efficient than traditional thermal management products. Fiber solutions replace traditional cooling options such as fans, metal sheets and liquid pump systems - these are not effective on racing drones. KULR's cooling system can be used to cool drone cameras, fast quadrotors and batteries. The combined use of KULR fiber in dissipating sensitive components to dissipate heat and reduce the risk of battery failure will help make the DR1 racing drone faster and safer.

"We have turned the DR1 drone into a remote driving lightning," Mo said. "But it's not just racing and winning – there will be a lot of testing, learning and innovation," he said.

This is a familiar pattern. Just as the innovation of high-performance IndyCar racing has spawned many advances in consumer automotive design and safety, the technical solutions pioneered and tested by KULR / DR1 partners will ultimately improve the safety and efficiency of many products, such as electric vehicles, robots, Commercial drones, and millions of consumer electronics.

DR1 founder and CEO Brad Foxhofen said: "This will be a great, highly influential partnership." "We want to get power from our racing drones, speed With flexibility and the ability to make every piece of powder, and with KULR technology as our technical consultant, we will definitely do this - improving the sport, fan experience and technical processing."

DR1 has previously held competitions around the world and signed TV and sponsorship agreements with CBS, Fox Sports, DHL, Mountain Dew and others.
