Hexcel and Groupe Gazechim Composites, the official agent of Hexcel, have been in business for more than 20 years and have reached an agreement to provide customized services for advanced composites sold to aerospace and defense customers as well as high performance industrial applications.
The joint venture, HexCut Services, brings together Hexcel (Advanced Composites Specialist) and distribution and logistics specialist Gazechim to provide pan-European complementary services, including Hexcel's innovative carbon fiber prepregs and other composite materials such as Sticky Mixtures are used in fabrics and fabrics for aerospace, defense and industrial applications. Pre-cut kits save customers time and money, reduce inventory and minimize material loss by reducing scrap.
Gazechim's acquisition of Maulévrier's existing ancillary facility, located 75 km east of Nantes (France), will be the initial centre for the provision of pre-cut kits for customers and future central services to the European network of local facilities.

Gazechim will own a majority stake in the joint venture.
