As a strategic new material, carbon fiber composites have become more widely used in recent years. Recently, China Composite Materials Society held a scientific and technological achievements conference in Beijing, and issued scientific and technological achievements certificates for two domestic carbon fiber composite materials innovation technologies. Zhang Boming, Secretary General of the China Society of Composite Materials and professor of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, said that these two scientific and technological achievements are of great significance for the mass production of carbon fiber composite materials and the reduction of manufacturing costs.
Zhang Boming said that in the field of composite materials, the prospects for carbon fiber products are generally optimistic. It has a series of advantages such as light weight, high modulus, high specific strength, low thermal expansion coefficient, high temperature resistance, thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance and good vibration absorption. It has been widely used in aerospace, automotive and other fields. The annual market demand for carbon fiber products will continue to grow by 10%-15%.
Among the two scientific and technological achievements that have been identified, the results of “Ultra-thin, lightweight, low-warpage carbon fiber composite sheet” have improved production efficiency, and at the same time solved the problem of yield reduction caused by shortening time and met the requirements of mass production; The high-efficiency process of carbon fiber composite pultruded sheet for wind power is to use the carbon fiber pultruded sheet for the main beam of the wind power blade, simplify the process, reduce the cost, and solve the problem of surface treatment of the carbon fiber pultruded sheet when used in the field. Simplifies the process operation of the user. Both scientific and technological achievements are from Jiangsu Aosheng Technology.
“Batch manufacturing is a major trend in the development of the composite materials industry. Previously, composite materials were mainly used in the aerospace industry, with manual operations by workers. If you want to develop in a large-scale and engineering direction, you must solve the problem of mass production. Zhang Boming said that the above two scientific and technological achievements have achieved mass production, reduced manual operation, increased production speed, reduced manufacturing costs, and demonstrated and promoted the application of carbon fiber in China.
It is reported that the China Composite Materials Society was established in 1989 and is a national academic group registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The business is headed by the China Association of Science and Technology. In order to encourage technological innovation and promote the transformation of outstanding scientific and technological achievements, the Science and Technology Evaluation Working Committee of China Composite Materials Society initiated the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements.
