The German Aerospace Center recently announced that its Composite Structure and Adaptive Research Institute has successfully demonstrated the use of the Airbus Composites Technology Center, the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing and Applied Materials, and Synthetic Fiber Technology. This technology is an important milestone in aircraft manufacturing for the future of high-efficiency wing casing manufacturing technology.
At present, this new technology has been adopted on the Airbus A350 flagship model, and the lightweight wing is made of carbon fiber reinforced material.
