What is PP LGF30?
LFT-G® PP LGF30, also known as Polypropylene Long Glass Fiber Reinforced 30%, is a thermoplastic composite material.This material is a combination of polypropylene and long glass fibers, which results in enhanced strength and stiffness.
Why PP LGF and not the PP GF?
The addition of long glass fibers to polypropylene provides significant improvements in material properties such as strength, stiffness, dimensional stability, and impact resistance.The mechanical properties of PP LGF can be improved further by keep longer glass fiber length than short fiber reinforced PP material. For instance, PP LGF30 (30% long glass fiber content) shows higher mechanical strength, stiffness, and impact resistance compared to PP GF30 or PA GF.
PP LGF30 exhibits high tensile strength, excellent flexural properties, and low creep deformation. It also has good resistance to chemicals and UV radiation.It is an ideal choice for applications of sport part, auto part and other construction part.
