How Long Is Long Glass Fiber Reinforced Filled PP In Plastic Pellets?

PP (polypropylene), as one of the general-purpose plastic materials, has excellent overall performance, good chemical stability, good molding and processing performance and relatively low price; however, PP has disadvantages such as low strength, modulus, hardness, poor low-temperature impact strength, large molding shrinkage, and easy aging.

Generally speaking, the tensile strength of PP material is between 20M~30MPa, the bending strength is between 25M~50MPa, and the bending modulus is between 800M~1500MPa. What is long glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene(LFT-PP-LGF)?

Long glass fiber reinforced filled PP (LFT-PP LGF)plastic pellets refers to modified PP composites containing glass fibers with lengths from 10 to 25 mm，and through injection molding and other processes to form a three-dimensional structure of glass fiber lengths greater than 3.1 mm of high-performance composite particles. The high-temperature fatigue strength of LFT-PP-LGF material at 120°C is twice that of ordinary glass fiber-reinforced PP, and even 10% higher than that of glass fiber-reinforced nylon, which is known for its heat resistance, so this material has the durability and reliability required as a structural component. 

LFT-PP LGF material not only effectively improves the stiffness, impact strength, creep resistance and dimensional stability of products, but also makes it possible to make complex automotive module products.
