In April 2017, Kangdexin (002450) announced that it had signed a mass production order for carbon fiber auto parts with Beiqi. In June, it signed a large-scale carbon fiber composite assembly with a total of more than RMB 1 billion. In July, BAIC and Changzhou jointly built the “Industrial 4.0 Intelligent Carbon Fiber Body and Parts Factory”, claiming to invest 12 billion.
In September 2017, the prelude to the listing of Guangwei Composite Materials (300699) opened the real highlight of the annual industry. Hengshen announced that its carbon fiber materials passed Bombardier's aviation certification and became China's first carbon fiber enterprise to enter the foreign large-scale civil aircraft supply system.
On September 21, the Kangde Group and the Rongcheng Municipal People's Government of Shandong Province signed an Investment Cooperation Agreement in Beijing. The two parties will jointly fund the construction of the “Kangde Carbon Valley Science and Technology Project and an annual output of 66,000 tons of high-performance carbon fiber project” in Rongcheng City. .
On the morning of September 29, Zhongfu Shenying Carbon Fiber Co., Ltd. held the launching ceremony of the “1000-ton SYT55 (T800) carbon fiber new line project” in Lianyungang, Jiangsu.

At the beginning of November 2017, Kangdexin signed a total investment of 180 billion “two parks and one city” cooperation agreement in Zhangjiagang, where its headquarters is located. The project includes an advanced polymer material industrial park covering an area of 5.15 square kilometers and a land area of 1.49 square kilometers. The new carbon fiber aerospace composite industrial park and the 5.2 square kilometer Kangde New Future City. The “Aerospace Composites Industrial Park Project” will rely on the Kangde Group and Kangdexin Group to build the world's only and world-leading carbon fiber lightweight ecological platform. The total investment of the project is 30 billion yuan, and the sales income can reach 100 billion yuan after reaching the production.
On January 8, 2018, the 2017 Science and Technology Awards Conference was held, and the “Key Technology and Application of Dry-jet Wet Spinning Thousand Tonnage High Strength/100 Tonnage Medium Carbon Fiber Industrialization” led by Zhongfu Shenying Carbon Fiber Co., Ltd. Won the first prize for scientific and technological progress. The “High-quality and high-efficiency processing technology and equipment for high-performance carbon fiber composite components” hosted by Professor Jia Zhenyuan of Dalian University of Technology won the first prize of National Technology Invention.
These two national awards, both of which are first prizes, reflect the progress of the industry and also reflect the state's support and recognition of the development of the carbon fiber industry.
The industrial grade large tows and high-strength high-modules at both ends of the important signs of carbon fiber development also announced breakthroughs. For example, Jinggong Carbon Valley and Jinshan Petrochemical announced the successful completion of the large-to-beam carbon fiber test. The Chinese Academy of Sciences Ningbo and Guangwei successively announced that M55 has obtained A breakthrough.
