The two companies have signed contracts to extend to 2025 to supply advanced materials.
Solvay (Alpharetta, GA, USA) and Airbus (Toulouse, France) announced on July 19 that the two companies had signed a contract extension agreement until 2025 to provide advanced materials.
The contract expands the product portfolio supplied to Airbus, including a range of primary and secondary structures for autoclave-cured prepregs for commercial aircraft and aerospace programs, and market-leading adhesives and lightning strikes for the A350 XWB. Protective materials, auxiliary materials and kits are used in the A350 XWB and a range of products sold to the Airbus Group for applications in helicopters, space and related partner companies.
