The Bai Yongxiao team of the School of Physical Science and Technology of Lanzhou University successfully prepared non-oxidized graphene and applied it to the research of medical sutures with ultra-high strength and antibacterial properties. The results were recently published in the Journal of Applied Materials and Interfaces of the American Chemical Society.
The study skillfully uses natural sugars to prepare high-quality non-oxidized graphene by means of automatic mechanical tearing of scale graphite, and is combined with biocompatible polymers to produce ultra-high quality for medical surgical sutures. Intensity of nanocomposite fibers. The new fiber in the experiment significantly shortened the healing cycle of the wound and showed good application potential.
