LFT long fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites, with fiber lengths ranging from 5 to 25 millimeters or more, are produced through a special mold impregnation process. Compared to short fiber reinforced modified materials with a length of 1 to 2 millimeters, it can be injection molded, extruded, or molded under pressure, and has excellent mechanical properties. It can be used in various fields to replace steel or replace thermosetting materials.
The long-fiber composite material possesses the characteristics of lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistance and high design flexibility. Compared with traditional metal processing, LFT long-fiber materials support integrated injection molding, with a molding efficiency that is 5 to 10 times higher than that of metal processing. It can integrate multiple scattered components into one, simplify the process and reduce weight by 30% to 40%.
