The "293" high-speed twin-body passenger ship under construction inspection by China Classification Society (CCS) was launched on July 12, 2018, and is ready for the next stage of commissioning. The vessel is a high-speed, two-body passenger ship designed by China's Brødrene Aa AS shipyard for the China-Hong Kong Passenger Transport Joint Venture Co., Ltd., which is designed to be a luxurious and luxuriously decorated carbon fiber composite material. It is designed to sail in the coastal waters of the Pearl River Delta and travel to and from Zhongshan Port, Hong Kong and Macau. Hong Kong and Macau Dawan District service.
The ship is 42.8 meters long, 10.8 meters wide and 3.65 meters deep. It has a passenger capacity of 300 people and is equipped with four marine diesel engines. Each engine drives a water jet propulsion device with a design speed of 40 knots. The ship's hull and superstructure are constructed of carbon fiber composite materials. The hull is very light and flexible, with good wave resistance, comfort, safety and high efficiency.
