LFT-G® PP GF40 Antistatic (Model: LFT-G®CPP-LGF40AS) is a specialized 40% long glass fiber reinforced Copolymer Polypropylene compound engineered for hazardous environments. Unlike standard engineering plastics, which are electrical insulators that accumulate dangerous static charges, this grade is modified with permanent antistatic agents to achieve a surface resistivity of 10⁸ to 10¹¹ ohms/sq.
Standard plastics naturally attract dust and can generate sparks up to 20,000 volts due to friction-a critical risk in mining, fuel handling, and electronics manufacturing. LFT-G® CPP-LGF40AS eliminates this risk by dissipating static electricity harmlessly.
