LFT-G® LGF50 PP LFT Polypropylene Material

The PP LGF50 material has become increasingly popular in the industry, especially for parts that require high durability and strength. LFT-G® PP LGF50 stands for Polypropylene Long Glass Fiber 50%. This means that the material is made up of 50% long glass fiber and 50% polypropylene. The long glass fibers are what give the material its strength and durability, while the polypropylene provides flexibility and resistance to heat and chemicals.

LFT Polypropylene PP LGF is lightweight, highly crystalline, easy to process, corrosion resistance, impact strength, flexural resistance and good electrical insulation, has become one of the most used plastic materials for automotive parts, accounting for about 37% of the plastics used in vehicles.

PP polypropylene in terms of strength, rigidity, hardness, heat resistance is better than polyethylene; can be used normally at 100 temperatures, dimensional stability, thermal stability, mechanical properties, impact resistance, mechanical properties, good chemical stability, not affected by humidity.

Polypropylene is transparent and lightweight, with a density of 0.89~0.91 g/cm3, which is one of the lightest varieties of plastics at present. Therefore, using polypropylene instead of traditional metal materials can further reduce the weight.
