LFT LGF C-PP-FR-LGF30 flame resistance grade is our new product that be made of LFT-G company. The C-PP-FR-LGF30 material have reach 94-VO grade flame resistance,that can use to inject more type part,require flame resistance performance, of automotive or home appliance etc industrial. LFT Copo-PP-FR-LGF30 thermoplastic raw plastic pellet have 10-25 mm.

LFT CPP-FR-LGF30 enhanced halogen -free flame retardant PP composite material

It is a halogen-free flame retardant PP thermoplastic fibre composite material with excellent impact resistance, fatigue resistance and its flame retardant performance reaches V0 level, which is widely used in automotive battery tanks and has been used in Chery, Geely, BAIC and other brand models.

The flame retardant properties of most polymer materials are not ideal, so when used in automotive parts, they need to be modified to produce polymer materials with flame retardant properties to increase their ultimate oxygen index (LOI) to 25.0% to 35.0%, effectively improving the safety index of the car.

Using polypropylene as the base and long glass fibre (LGF) as the filler material, adding phosphorus and nitrogen-based halogen-free intumescent flame retardants, melamine urate and polyphosphonic acid mimic salt, the double masterbatch preparation method is used to prepare long glass fibre, long glass fibre masterbatch and halogen-free flame retardant masterbatch respectively, and the two are mixed evenly and then directly injection moulded to produce flame retardant PP products.

Nylon materials tend to absorb water, with finished parts typically absorbing 0.7% or more. In high temperature and high humidity environments, there is a risk of failure; this can be avoided by changing to long glass fibre polypropylene, which is less prone to water absorption. At the same time, the use of long glass fibre reinforced PP materials can play a role in reducing weight and costs.
