PA66 polyamide 66 or nylon 66 chemical and physical properties PA66 has a high melting point in polyamide materials.It's a semi-crystalline material.PA66 maintains high strength and stiffness at higher temperatures.

The shrinkage rate of PA66 is between 1% and 2%. The addition of carbon glass additives can reduce the shrinkage rate to 0.2%~1%. The difference between the process direction and the vertical direction of the process direction is that the larger PA66 is soluble to many solvents, but weak against acids and other chlorinated agents.

PA66 has good wear resistance, heat resistance, oil resistance and chemical resistance. It also greatly reduces the water absorption and shrinkage of the raw material. It has excellent dimensional stability and excellent mechanical strength.

Long carbon fiber nylon66 pellets is made from one monomer which has 6 carbon atoms while Long carbon fiber PA66 pellets is made from 2 monomers with each one having 6 carbon atoms, hence the PA66 name. An important difference between Long carbon fiber nylon 6 pellets& 66 is mold shrinkage. PA66 would be a better choice between the two.
