PPA is a thermoplastic functional nylon with both semi-crystalline and amorphous structures. PPA is obtained by polycondensation of phthalic acid with o-phenylenediamine. It has excellent thermal, electrical and physical properties. Comprehensive properties in chemical resistance, etc., excellent mechanical properties including high rigidity, high strength, high dimensional accuracy and low temperature in 200 ° C continuous high temperature, humidity, oil stain and chemical corrosion. Warpage and stability, fatigue resistance, creep resistance. The main application is mainly amorphous PPA. It has excellent high rigidity and high strength at high temperature. PPA has high hardness and excellent mechanical strength such as bending, tensile and impact at high temperature, and can resist long-term tensile creep. Its rigidity and strength even exceed PPS and PEEK at a high temperature of 120 °C. Particularly suitable for replacing die-cast alloys to reduce costs. PPA has higher thermal stability than PA46, better CTI arc resistance and infrared reflow capability.
