Polyetheretherketones (PEEK), the Chinese name is polyetheretherketone. PEEK is a partially crystalline body with a glass transition temperature of 143 ° C and a melting temperature of 334 ° C. The material is resistant to organic and water environments and is widely used in bearings, pistons, pumps, compressor valve plates, cable insulation, etc.

PEEK is an ultra-high-performance special engineering plastic developed by Imperial Chemical Industry Corporation (ICI) in 1978. After that, DuPont, BASF, Mitsui Chemical Co., Ltd., VICTREX, and American Elp have developed similar products. product. Among them, ICI's PEEK has been converted to VICTREX. In China, due to the excellent performance of PEEK, it is regarded as a strategic national defense military material. Its research has been included in the 7-5-15 national key scientific and technological research projects and the “863 Program”. The main production research companies are Beijing Huatong Ruichi and Jida Evonik High Performance Polymers.

This material has excellent chemical resistance, thermal stability and oxidation resistance, while having good mechanical strength, creep resistance and electrical properties. It can withstand high energy radiation and has good flame retardant properties. PEEK's long-term operating temperature range is from -100°C to +250°C

● Excellent chemical resistance

● Very low hygroscopicity

● Not easy to wear and wear

● Continuous exposure to hot water or steam is not affected

Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) resin is a special engineering plastic with excellent performance. It has many significant advantages compared with other special engineering plastics. It has high temperature resistance, excellent mechanical properties, good self-lubricating property, chemical corrosion resistance and flame retardant. It is widely used in aerospace, automobile manufacturing, electrical and electronic, medical and food processing, etc. due to peeling resistance, radiation resistance, insulation stability, hydrolysis resistance and easy processing.
