The product manufacturing process of the LFT sheet is very similar to the SMC (sheet molding) in the thermosetting composite FRP. It is also formed by pressing a sheet in a mold. The LFT is a cold sheet which is softened and then cold pressed in a mold, and the SMC is hot pressed after the cold sheet is placed in a mold.
Compared with SMC sheets, LFT sheets have the following technical advantages:

2, light weight, density is only 1 ~ 1.2g / cm3.
3, scrap and waste can be recycled to minimize waste.
4. The strength is higher than SMC, and the impact toughness is particularly prominent.
5, corrosion resistance, electrical performance is better.
6. The product pressing speed is several times faster than SMC, and the production efficiency is greatly improved.
