What is LFT-PP "Plastic instead of Steel"?
The inappropriateness of metal for molding complex shapes limits its use in many parts, which also hinders cost reductions. In contrast, the use of long glass fiber reinforced plastic (LFT/LFRT material) injection molding can overcome many of these disadvantages. This has led to the trend of "replacing steel with plastic": LFT-PP is replacing metal as the new material for automobiles.

What is lFT LGFPP ?
Long Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene (Long Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene. referred to as LGFPP), as an automotive module carrier material, the material not only can effectively improve the rigidity of the product, impact strength, creep resistance and dimensional stability, but also can make complex automotive module products.Compared with other engineering plastics, LFT PP materials are more rigid and stronger, and are more often used for structural parts, such as seat skeletons and bumpers.
Benefit of LFT PP compound
------
- Good dimensional stability
- excellent fatigue resistance
- smaller creep performance
- small anisotropy, low warpage deformation
- excellent mechanical properties, especially impact resistance characteristics
- good fluidity, adapt to thick-walled products processing

Products Application
Automotive applications for LFT-PP include bumpers, fenders, hoods, instrument panels, doors, seat backs, heater impellers, front-end braces, door panel integration modules, automotive dashboard skeletons, cooling fans and cabinet racks, roof window frames/strips, bumpers, self-locking braking systems, small axle and gear parts, automotive luggage racks, and buffers, can replace the short glass fiber reinforced nylon or metal materials that are currently used in large quantities, helping to make cars lighter.
