Developed countries have applied modified PA66 to rail fasteners in the 1970s. After more than 40 years of use and development, PA66 has been widely used in rail fasteners such as casings, gauge blocks and baffle seats. PA66 has excellent mechanical properties and a small specific gravity. Compared with metal parts, it is light in weight, rust-proof, vibration-resistant and shock-resistant. It has excellent processing performance and flexible design. It can be used on high-speed rail to solve locomotives. The jitter and noise problems during operation, and the stability of the wheelbase can be maintained, the number of repairs can be reduced, and the good vibration resistance is very important for ensuring the stability of the high-speed rail. The high-speed rail passenger line requires about 2.2 to 3.0 tons of railway fastener material per kilometer. Britain, Germany and other countries have always monopolized the production technology of nylon sliver for high-speed rail passenger line. In recent years, Chinese engineering plastics enterprises have also successfully developed special materials for engineering plastics PA66 for high-speed rail fasteners.
