Recently, Zhongfu Lianzhong successfully won the bid for the continuous winding pipeline project of the Bangladesh Project of China Hydropower Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd. The project produces FRP pipes of DN1900, DN2200 and DN2600 with a total length of 12 kilometers.
The project is all continuous winding of FRP. The continuous winding glass fiber reinforced plastic pipe production process has the characteristics of uninterrupted production process, obvious improvement of production efficiency, low consumption of raw materials, environmental protection of production environment and low labor intensity. It is an upgrade of the existing production process of fixed length winding glass fiber reinforced plastic pipe. Continuous winding combines production technology and production equipment. The main raw materials such as resin, curing agent and chopped glass fiber are automatically added by precise metering, which minimizes the influence of human factors in the production process. The winding process parameters are strictly implemented according to the process order. The quality is very stable, and due to the characteristics of production, it can be cut online at any time during the production process to detect the performance of the pipeline, and the quality control link is superior to the fixed length winding process.
This project is another project of manufacturing, processing and exporting continuous winding pipelines following the continuous winding pipeline project in Australia. It marks the first major independent research and development of continuous winding glass pipes in China.
