Xiamen LFT Composite Plastic Co., Ltd, a world-leading developer and manufacturer of Long Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastics (LFT & LFRT), is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming Future Industry New Materials Expo (FINE 2026). Taking place from June 10th to 12th, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (Halls N1-N4), the event stands as a premier platform showcasing state-of-the-art materials. LFT-G® invites clients, engineering partners, and industry specialists to visit Booth N4B10 to explore our latest high-performance composites designed to meet the lightweighting and thermal challenges of modern manufacturing.

Exhibition Overview & Booth Information

• Event Name: Future Industry New Materials Expo (FINE 2026)

• Exhibition Date: June 10 – 12, 2026

• Venue: Shanghai New International Expo Center (Halls N1-N4), China

• LFT-G® Booth Number: Hall N4, Booth B10 (N4B10)

1. FINE 2026: Material Solutions for Future Industries

FINE 2026 covers over 40,000 square meters of exhibition space and features more than 300 technical seminars. It integrates co-located events including the 10th International Carbon Materials Expo (Carbontech 2026) and the Thermal Management Industry Expo (iTherM 2026). The focus is centered on five shared critical demands of emerging sectors: advanced batteries, advanced semiconductors, lightweight structures, low-carbon sustainability, and thermal management. These demands are essential for the growth of artificial intelligence (AI) data centers, embodied AI (robotics), the low-altitude economy (UAVs), aerospace, and smart automotive engineering.

As future industries demand materials with higher strength, lower weight, and long-term durability in complex operational environments, traditional short-fiber plastics and heavy metals are reaching their physical limits. Xiamen LFT-G® will present its long-fiber pultrusion technology at the exhibition as a direct response to these industrial challenges.

2. What is LFT? The Pultruded Long Fiber Edge

Long Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastics (LFT) are high-performance composite pellets produced through a specialized melt-impregnation pultrusion process. Continuous glass or carbon fiber rovings are drawn through a crosshead die, where they are fully wetted out by thermoplastic resins like Polypropylene (PP), Polyamide (PA), Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), or Polyetheretherketone (PEEK), and then chopped into 10-12 mm granules.

In the molded component, the wetted glass or carbon fibers form an internal 3D entangled fiber network skeleton. This continuous microstructural network disperses impact forces and structural loads far more effectively than short glass fibers, offering metal-like mechanical properties alongside the high-volume production speed and recyclability of thermoplastics.

3. Core Advantages of LFT-G® Composites

During the FINE 2026 exhibition, LFT-G® will highlight the four key value propositions that make long-fiber thermoplastics the preferred selection for metal-replacement projects:

  • Extreme Mechanical Performance: Exceptional flexural and tensile modulus, superior impact toughness (especially at low temperatures), and excellent resistance to mechanical creep and fatigue under sustained loads.
  • Significant Lightweighting (Metal Replacement): With a density ranging from 1.10 to 1.40 g/cm³, LFT-G® composites are 50% to 80% lighter than structural steel or cast aluminum, enabling substantial weight reduction.
  • High-Volume Injection Molding Efficiency: Allows the complex integration of multi-piece metal weldments into a single molded thermoplastic part, cutting cycle times by over 60% compared to thermosets or machined metal alloys.
  • Harsh Environment Durability: Resistant to chemical solvents, industrial oils, and corrosion. Hydrophobic matrices like PP ensure mechanical properties remain stable in humid or wet operational settings.

4. Target Applications Exhibited at FINE 2026

The LFT-G® materials portfolio spans glass and carbon fiber reinforcements tailored for specific high-growth sectors, including:

Smart Automotive Engineering: Lightweight structural components such as front-end modules, instrument panel carriers, EV battery pack enclosures, and heavy-duty chassis shields.

Embodied AI & Robotics: Rigid skeletal frames, structural bases, protective covers, and limbs for bipedal and quadrupedal robotic systems.

Low-Altitude Economy & Drones: Carbon-fiber-reinforced composites for UAV drone arms, motor mount brackets, and landing gears to maximize payload capacity.

Renewable Energy & Machinery: Corrosion-resistant components for industrial fluid handling, energy storage boxes, and solar mounting brackets.
