Germany's Ross Composites develops a filament winding line for the production of the Ariane 6 rocket propeller. Ross Composites Machinery Co., Ltd. announced on June 26 that it has worked closely with space propulsion system manufacturer Avio to develop a new filament winding line. Avio is using Ross Composites Machinery's equipment to manufacture the propulsion rocket for the French Arianespace company, the new generation of Ariane (also translated as Ariane) 6 launch vehicle. The propeller of the Ariane 6 rocket is about 15 meters long and has a diameter of 3.6 meters. The thruster housing is made entirely of carbon fiber, replacing the steel casing previously used in the previous generation Ariane 5. 7. “The total national funding is 27.44 million, and the EU-China Science and Technology Metal 3D Printing Powder Materials Project has been approved.” Recently, a good news came from the Ministry of Science and Technology, led by China Commercial Development, and the 2018 National Key Research and Development Program participated by Ouzhong Technology. The application demonstration of the whole process optimization design for the manufacture of complex system components supporting the dynamic components of the power equipment was approved by the project. The total project funding was 27.44 million, of which the EU-China Technology Leading Project II “High Performance Powder and Material Performance Database for Additive Manufacturing” ", responsible for the localization of TC4, GH3536 and GH4169 metal spherical powder, powder characterization and establishment of powder database.
