Recently, the key research and development project of key industrial technology innovations in Chongqing, led by CPIC, was launched. The project initiation and project implementation plan review meeting for the development and industrialization of continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite materials was held at CPIC Dadukou District Headquarters. Chen Feng, deputy director of the High-tech Department of Chongqing Science and Technology Commission, Wu Shuhuang, director of the Science and Technology Committee of Dadukou District, Yao Yuan, deputy general manager of CPIC, Zeng Qingwen, director of R&D, and more than 20 participants in the project attended the meeting.
It is reported that the project of “Development and Industrialization of Continuous Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic Composite Materials” is jointly developed by CPIC and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chongqing University and the Academy of Sciences, in order to comply with the company's industrial chain and achieve the “Double Hundred” strategic goal. A new project, the project is mainly aimed at rail transit, future automotive, aviation, new energy equipment, modular construction and other fields, and has developed a new generation of continuous innovation for high-performance, lightweight, and new materials. Fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite materials, the successful development of the project will achieve breakthroughs in technology, economy, resources and environment.
