TPU is a linear block polymer prepared by the reaction of MDI of the NCO functional group with POLYOL and 1.4BG containing OH functional group. TPU's name is thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer rubber, this material can be soft at a certain heat, but can remain unchanged at room temperature. Used in shoes to stabilize the role of support. Opus are not textiles in the traditional sense at all, let alone leather.
TPU overcomes many defects of PVC, PU leather, and PU coating, making a major breakthrough for waterproof and breathable fabric applications. TPU not only has most of the characteristics of rubber and ordinary plastics but also has excellent comprehensive physical and chemical properties. It is a new polymer environmental protection material between rubber and plastic. It has both the softness of rubber and the hardness of hard plastics.
LGF is short for Long Glass Fiber. Adding LGF to TPU can reduce the cost of goods and effectively improve the mechanical properties of engineering polymers, and increase the durability by forming long fibers to dorm a long-fiber-reinforced internal skeleton network.
