Why use long fiber composite? 

The LFT&LFRT material, long fiber reinforced thermoplastic, is one of engineered reinforced composite. Fiber length is 5-25 mm.

The reason is long fiber composite is preferred over short fiber because it has higher strength, stiffness, and impact resistance. Long fibers also provide better dimensional stability and creep resistance.Long fiber thermoplastic Can be processed using injection molding or compression molding, allowing for greater design flexibility and faster production cycles.

 

Why long fiber reinforced material higher mechanical properties than short fiber reinforced material? The reason, the long fibers in LFT-G® LFT-PP composites form a network skeleton in a certain direction, and this long fiber network skeleton has a good role in absorbing stress and impact from the outside, which cannot be done by the short fiber composite.
