LFT-G® 40% Long glass fiber PA66 (UV Resistant)
Standard PA66 GF40 is a structural beast, but it has a fatal enemy: Sunlight. UV radiation attacks the polyamide molecular chain, causing "chalking," discoloration, and a rapid loss of mechanical strength. LFT-G® PA66-LGF40V (UV Grade) is engineered to survive the elements.
This specialized Natural Grade (NG04-UV) incorporates a robust UV Stabilization Package (HALS) into the 40% Long Glass Fiber reinforced PA66 matrix. Unlike standard nylons that become brittle outdoors, this material maintains its flexural modulus (>13 GPa) and impact strength even after prolonged exposure to UV rays and rain. It allows for colorable, high-strength parts in exterior automotive and outdoor industrial applications.

Processing Information
The following values are recommendations. We recommend desiccant / dry air dryers (moisture content below 0.1%).
To minimize fiber breakage and ensure optimal performance, a low-compression, general-purpose screw is highly recommended.
