FAQ
Q: Why is PA6 LGF40 ideal for metal replacement?

A: LFT-G® PA6 LGF40TA offers a high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent impact resistance, and superior fatigue life, making it a lightweight alternative to metals. Its long glass fiber reinforcement provides structural rigidity comparable to die-cast aluminum while reducing weight by up to 40%.

Q: PA6 LGF40 vs short fiber PA6 – what's the difference?

A: Compared to standard short fiber PA6, LFT-G® PA6 LGF40TA delivers significantly higher impact strength, fatigue resistance, and creep performance. The long fiber 3D network absorbs energy better and reduces warpage. This makes it the preferred choice for dynamic and load-bearing applications.

Q: How to process PA6 LGF40 in injection molding?

A: Dry LFT-G® PA6 LGF40TA at 90–110°C for 3–4 hours (moisture <0.01%) before processing. Set melt temperature 210–240°C, mold 40–60°C, and injection pressure 80–115 MPa with a low-compression screw. Proper drying and low-shear settings preserve fiber length and maximize mechanical performance.
