The hygroscopic properties of PBT are very weak. The tensile strength of non-enhanced PBT is 50MPa, and that of long glass fiber additive PBT is 170MPa.

Product Condition

The crystallization of PBT is rapid, which leads to bending deformation due to uneven cooling. For materials with glass additive types, the shrinkage in the flow direction can be reduced, but the shrinkage in the vertical direction of the flow direction is basically the same as that of ordinary materials. The shrinkage of general materials is between 1.5%~2.8%, and the shrinkage of materials containing 30% glass additive is between 0.3%~1.6%. Both the melting point (225℃) and the high temperature deformation temperature are lower than PET materials. The softening temperature of vica is about 170℃. The Glass Trasitio temperature ranges from 22℃ to 43℃. Due to the high crystallization rate of PBT, its viscosity is very low, and the cycle time of plastic parts processing is generally low.
