LFT-PBT-LGF, a long glass fiber reinforced PBT(polybutylene terephthalate) composite material manufactured by XIAMEN LFT-G^® company, has high performance and durability, low warpage, and is able to reduce the weight of automotive parts and lower costs. It is applied to mechanical parts, low-voltage switches, circuit breakers, electrical appliances, and home appliance parts.

This material is composed of PBT resin, LFT long-fiber and some other modifiers. Its reinforced fiber adds high strength to the product, making it more wear-resistant, impact-resistant and fatigue-resistant. The combination of PBT polyester and LFT long fiber reinforced the rigidity and stiffness of the material. The PBT-LGF composite exhibits superior thermal stability and superior dimension stability. It maintains a large degree of strength and stiffness at elevated temperatures, so it offers excellent heat and flame retardant, along with excellent electrical insulation properties.
 

The low warpage property of LFT-PBT-LGF can drastically reduce the weight of automotive parts and reduce costs.
