What is PP LCF40?
LFT-G® LCF40-PP is a high performance composite material, or polypropylene with 40%long carbon fiber reinforced composite offer superior mechanical properties compared to traditional PP materials, including increased stiffness and strength. This is due to the embedding of long glass or carbon fibers within the PP matrix, providing improved resistance to stress and impact.
Lighting weight: Our LFT Long Carbon Fiber PP grades (Model: LFT-G® PP-LCF Series) has lower density (1.1-1.6g/cm³) and higher strength and modulus (20Gpa)than metal, can be used to replace engineering plastics and metal parts, thereby improving automotive fuel economy and reducing CO2 emissions.
A new halogen-free, flame-retardant PP compound from Xiamen LFT-G® long glass and long carbon fiber reinforced series products to provide a low-density solution in demanding applications. The LFT-PP compounds offer good temperature resistance and electrical and mechanical properties for automotive parts, electrical/electronic (E&E), construction and appliances. These LFT-PP materials offer a remarkable combination of processability, mechanical and electrical properties, and low flammability ratings.
