What is PA6 LCF40?

LFT-G® PA6 LCF40 is a revolutionary material that combines 40%long carbon fiber with PA6 polyamide resin that high performance, versatility, and cost-effectiveness. The combination of these properties makes PA6 LCF40 a material of choice for engineers and manufacturers looking for durable, lightweight, and reliable materials.

Long carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic PA6 composites consist of long carbon fibers and thermoplastic PA6 resin. The long carbon fibers carry the load, the PA6 resin transmits the load, and the interface between the fibers and the resin also plays an important role in the load transfer process. The carbon fiber in this material enhances its mechanical properties, making it stronger and stiffer than traditional short PA6 CF materials.

The existence of CF in carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites is mainly in the form of short carbon fiber (SCF) and long carbon fiber (LCF). The carbon fibers of short carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites are different directions and discontinuous, and the mechanical properties of the composites cannot meet the demand of high performance, while the long carbon fibers of LFT-LCF are continuous, and the continuous fibers can give full play to their mechanical properties of high strength and high modulus as reinforcement, so that the composites with excellent overall performance can be produced.

Advantages of LFT long fiber composite

Extremly Mechanical Properties

Keep longer glass carbon fiber, the LFT long fiber composite will provide higher stiffness strength, high modulus, thoughness than short fiber reinforced material

Strong dimensional durability

LFT long fiber composite is made of high-strength fiber materials such as high-flow Polypropylene/Nylon , which greatly improves its durability and strength.

Excellent Chemical Corrosion

LFT Composite choose multi matrix resin from PP to PEEK,Very good corrosion and chemical resistance Retains performance across low and elevated temperatures
