LFT PA6 stands for Long Fiber Reinforced Polyamide 6, which is a high-performance thermoplastic composite material. It is composed of a polymer matrix, usually Polyamide 6 (PA6), and long fibers, typically glass or carbon, that are aligned parallel to the flow direction during the manufacturing process.
Compared to conventional short fiber reinforced plastics, LFT PA6 offers enhanced mechanical properties, such as higher stiffness, strength, and fatigue resistance. Its excellent dimensional stability and low creep deformation make it a popular choice for demanding structural applications.
