To reduce weight and improve durability without compromising vehicle safety, transmission suspension systems (TMS) are a key area of research.  The composite application reinforcement device (CTR) is part of the overall transmission suspension system.  For example, in the event of a minor collision between the vehicle and the vehicle on the opposite side, the composite application reinforcement transfers the energy load from the outer rail to the transmission installation beam, thus improving field performance.
