LFT-G® injection molding is engineered from the ground up for long-fiber reinforced thermoplastics (LFT) with purpose-built screw and barrel configurations. Our low-shear, gentle-conveying screw profile minimizes fiber breakage during melting, preserving the intact, continuous fiber network from our pultruded pellets all the way through to the finished part. This standardized production platform delivers highly consistent performance across all our production facilities worldwide, with negligible batch-to-batch variation.

 

Low-shear melting not only protects critical fiber length but also ensures uniform fiber dispersion even in parts with complex geometries. Combined with precise melt temperature control and optimized backpressure, it maintains the material's internal three-dimensional fiber skeleton-the very foundation of our industry-leading high impact strength. Our modular screw design flexibly adapts to different material viscosities and part requirements, from precision thin-walled housings to heavy-duty metal replacement components.
