In its basic form, "polypropylene fiber" refers to a synthetic fiber extruded from polypropylene (PP) polymer, composite materials: polypropylene resin reinforced with glass fibers (GF). However, the Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT), which measures performance under load at high temperatures, is much more relevant for applications. LFT-G® PP LGF50 offers an excellent HDT of 160-170°C, allowing it to maintain structural integrity at temperatures close to its melting point.
