What is LFT PP?

LFT PP, is long fiber reinforced Polypropylene composite plastic material. LFT-G® LFT PP NG03 is 30% long glass fiber reinforced polypropylene that high-performance material combines the benefits of polypropylene with the added strength of 30%long glass fibers.Its unique properties, including excellent strength-to-weight ratio, impact resistance, and resistance to automotive fluids, make it a popular choice for manufacturers in the automotive industry.

Compared with ordinary short fibers, the performance of long fiber modified materials is better. It has excellent creep resistance and fatigue resistance, excellent tensile strength and bending strength. The crack resistance of the product will also be better. The production and processing technology of long fiber pp reinforced modified material is an impregnation process. 30% of the fiber content is uniformly impregnated with the added PP resin, and the impregnated pp LGF strip is obtained by cooling with water, and finally cut into 5-25 mm length particles. Because of the orderly arrangement of the fibers and the high adhesion between the resin and the fibers, the mechanical properties are improved.
