What is PP LGF50?

Optimized Fiber-Matrix Architecture

  • LFT-G®PP LGF50 is a high-performance composite where 50% of its weight is long glass fibers embedded in a polypropylene matrix. Unlike short fibers, these long, continuous reinforcements form a strong internal network, significantly enhancing the material's properties. This combination leverages the chemical resistance and low density of PP with the superior strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability of long glass fibers. The manufacturing process ensures uniform fiber dispersion, resulting in a material that offers an excellent balance of mechanical performance and lightweight characteristics, making it ideal for demanding applications.
