LFT-G® LGF-PP NG03 For Car Automotive Part

LFT-G® LFT PP LGF, also known as polypropylene with long glass fiber, is a high strength and durable material that is commonly used in the production of various automotive components.Long fiber reinforced thermoplastic pellets are processed into final products using injection molding, and they are beginning to be used in automotive bodywork in large quantities because of the significant improvement in mechanical properties compared to short glass fiber composites.

A tailgate with an outer panel made of polypropylene plastic and an inner panel made of long glass fiber reinforced polypropylene thermoplastic composite (LFT PP-LGF). Because PP-LGF material has beneficial mechanical properties, while injection molding technology gives it the freedom to form shapes that can locally realize complex reinforcing structures, coupled with its smaller density and excellent weight reduction, it has now become the mainstream direction of injection molded tailgate.At present, this technology has been used in the main models: a new generation of Nissan Kizashi, BMW i3, Ford kuga, Peugeot Citroen and so on.
