What is LGF40 PP LFT material?
LFT-G® LGF40-PP LFT is a 40% long glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene (PP LFT) thermoplastic composite manufactured using a pultrusion process that melt impregnates the fiber with the matrix resin to maximize performance.
LFT PP (Long Fiber Thermoplastic Polypropylene) is composed of long and continuous glass fibers that are embedded within a thermoplastic polypropylene matrix. This composition allows LFT PP to have increased strength and stiffness compared to traditional short-fiber filled materials.The long glass fibers also provide LFT PP with higher dimensional stability and better resistance to impact and fatigue.
