What are LFT Materials and LGF PA66 Pellets?

Long-fiber materials refer to composite materials made by adding longer fibers (usually continuous fibers with a length ranging from 5 to 25mm) as reinforcing phases to plastics as the matrix. The fiber length is significantly longer than that of conventional chopped fibers (usually < 1mm), thus enabling more effective stress transmission and enhancing the mechanical properties of the material.

Long glass fiber nylon 66 material is a composite material with nylon 66 (PA66) as the matrix and reinforced with long glass fibers (usually ≥10mm in length). Combining the chemical resistance and wear resistance of nylon with the high strength of long glass fiber, the overall mechanical properties have been improved.

1. Excellent mechanical properties:

 High strength & high rigidity: The structure it forms can transfer loads more effectively, enhancing tensile strength and flexural modulus

 Improved moisture absorption (still needs attention): Nylon 66 itself has a strong water absorption capacity. The addition of long glass fibers reduces the impact of moisture absorption on size and performance. Moisture-proof treatment is still needed

4. Wear resistance and chemical resistance: Nylon 66 pellets has self-lubricating properties and oil resistance, fuel oil resistance, weak acids and weak alkalis resistance
