What is PA6 LGF40?

LFT PA6 material is a type of thermoplastic composite that consists of continuous long glass/carbon fibers embedded in a nylon6 matrix. The fiber length in this material typically ranges from 5 to 25 mm, which is significantly longer than other types of thermoplastic composites.
The LFT-G® LFT PA6 LGF40 material is composed of nylon6 resin and 40% long glass fiber, which results in improved stiffness, tensile strength, and impact resistance compared to traditional nylon materials, and have the wide application from many industrials.The longer fibers provide excellent mechanical properties to the material, such as high strength, stiffness, and toughness. The nylon6 matrix, on the other hand, provides good chemical and thermal resistance. LFT PA6 material, its high fiber content (typically 30-60%) provides better mechanical properties than short fiber composites, which typically have a fiber content of 10-30%.
