LFT-G® PA6 LCF30 Black – Hyper-Lightweight Carbon Composite

The Carbon Dominance:
- ● Hyper-Rigidity: 20,000 MPa modulus outperforms aluminum and magnesium.
- ● Extreme Low Mass: Density of just 1.24 g/cm³ for ultimate weight reduction.
- ● EMI Shielding: Inherently conductive fibers block electromagnetic interference.
- ● Wear & Friction: Natural carbon lubricity drastically improves long-term wear resistance.
Why Upgrade to Long Carbon Fiber (LCF)?
Moving from Long Glass Fiber (LGF) to Long Carbon Fiber (LCF) is a leap into hyper-performance. Our PA6 LCF30 delivers three exclusive engineering advantages that glass simply cannot match.
EMI & RFI Shielding
Unlike insulating glass, the carbon network forms a conductive shield, protecting sensitive EV batteries and drone electronics from signal disruption.
Specific Stiffness
Achieves a stiffness-to-weight ratio that eclipses die-cast aluminum. It provides 20 GPa of rigidity at a remarkably low density of 1.26 g/cm³.
Anti-Friction
Carbon fiber acts as a natural solid lubricant. This drastically reduces the coefficient of friction, extending the life of moving gears and robotic joints.

Aerospace & High-Tech Applications

UAV Drones & Aerospace
In commercial drones and VTOL aircraft, every gram matters. The incredibly low density (1.26) combined with 20 GPa stiffness ensures drone frames remain perfectly rigid in high winds. The inherent EMI shielding protects sensitive flight controllers from radar interference.

EV Battery & Electronic Housings
Electric vehicle battery modules generate significant magnetic fields. The electrically conductive 30% long carbon fiber network serves as an integrated Faraday cage, blocking EMI/RFI radiation while providing structural crash protection at half the weight of aluminum housings.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Is the cost of PA6 LCF30 justified compared to Glass Fiber?
A: While the raw material cost is higher than glass, the ROI is massive for high-tech applications. If your product requires extreme weight reduction (drones/EVs), built-in EMI shielding (eliminating secondary copper spraying), or ultimate fatigue life, the system-level cost of LCF30 is highly competitive.
Q: How does the EMI Shielding work in this material?
A: Carbon fibers are naturally conductive. During the pultrusion process, we preserve the 10mm fiber length. Inside the molded part, these long fibers cross over each other, creating a continuous conductive network that acts like a metal mesh, effectively absorbing and reflecting electromagnetic waves.
Q: Can PA6 LCF30 be injection molded normally?
A: Yes, it is processed on standard injection molding equipment. However, because carbon fiber is highly abrasive, we strongly recommend using hardened tool steel molds and bimetallic screws/barrels to minimize equipment wear during large production runs.
