What is PA6 LCF50?

LFT-G® PA6 LCF50 material is a long carbon fiber reinforced nylon6 engineering material that offers high mechanical properties, lightweight nature, chemical resistance, thermal compatibility, and low water absorption various advantages over ordinary PA6 CF material.That excellent properties made it highly suitable for a range of applications includes in the automotive, aerospace, or sports industry and various industries.

 

Producers usually use carbon fiber CF as reinforcement and make composites with matrix resin, which are mainly thermoplastic and thermosetting composites according to the different types of resin. In the past, manufacturers basically used thermosetting resin as the matrix to prepare carbon fiber composites. Carbon fiber reinforced thermosetting composites have better strength, heat resistance and chemical resistance, but they are not reproducible, slow molding speed, and cause pollution to the environment, which is not in line with today's green environmental protection development trend, so people turn their eyes to long carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites.
